Fourth of July Traditions
This year, like every year since we started dating, we celebrated our fourth of July on the farm starting with a family grill out, and ending the night with fireworks at grandpa’s house.
Every year Mr. gets out his great granfather’s 1941 Farmall H he restored in high school. He used to ride this bad boy in the local parade, but that was short lived : ) .
As it gets very hot! At 23 horsepower this was the big guy back in its day.
What I Wore
I wore a lace tank, denim shorts and Toms with full wrist of bracelets inspired by the fourth of course!
Complete with a BugBand purchased at Target to help keep those buggies away!
How did you celebrate the fourth this year?
At home or perhaps on a lake? What did you wear, and did you manage to keep the bugs at bay? I have a few bites driving me bananas!
How’d the bugband work out… did it work?
Depends on your definition of work lol. I think it helped, but I did not survive the weekend bug bite free even though I did supplement at night with bug spray.
